Meet the Yummy Mummy

10 April 2012

Before Kieli, 33, from Greenwich, had her son Spencer, 1, she thought nothing of spending her weekends relaxing with friends, making spontaneous plans and stumbling upon shops off the beaten track.

"Now I've got a small child, everything needs to be planned," she says. "Also I have to do everything at speed. It's a luxury to meet up with other mums and we have to time everything round our children's feeds and naps so it's never easy. My life is so different now rushing home with Spencer on one hip and a takeaway in the other hand and I feel like I spend my time washing, cleaning and yawning - although I do find time to keep fit playing netball - and juggling work and home. My shopping habits have also changed. I now rely on Boots - although for my clothing, it's still got to be All Saints."

Looking forward to? Enjoying shopping and lunch with other mums somewhere child friendly, which has baby changing and is easy with a buggy and where I can park as I now have to take so much paraphernalia with me every time I go out. If I can also be pampered, as this is a bit of rarity now, that would be a perfect day.

Perfect meal: I love Italian food particularly lasagna

What am I listening to? Two Door Cinema Club and Adele

I'm reading: Not a lot - having the time would be a luxury
