The Biography Channel is airing never seen before footage featuring some of the biggest British artists and rock acts. Here's the line-up for the show...

6pm - Mark Knopfler
Mark Knopfler and Dire Straits have sold over 105 million albums worldwide. In this interview he talks about his early career as a journalist and a teacher, his long involvement with Dire Straits, his solo work and album ‘Sailing to Philadelphia’.

6.30pm - UB40
Only Bob Marley and the Wailers have done as much to bring reggae to a wider audience. The boys from Birmingham speak about their career, which spans the last two decades, and how they proved reggae is both timeless and universally popular.

7pm - Richard Ashcroft
The Verve left a pervasive imprint on modern music, culminating in their last album, ‘Urban Hymns,’ which topped the UK charts. Richard speaks of his time with the band, and how he dealt with the uncertainty of a solo career

7.30pm - The Stereophonics Biography Premiere
The Welsh rock trio have an individual style that ensured they would be catapulted into the limelight. We discover how the boys found their way from a small village in South Wales to their fame today.

8pm — Blur Biography Premiere
We find out how a move to Iceland four years ago, resulted in a change in Damon’s song writing, which led to a complete reversal from Brit-pop cheeky-cockney past albums to a heavier, guitar-laden sound.

8.30pm — Travis Biography Premiere
Both 'The Man Who' and 'The Invisible Band' garnered critical plaudits worldwide. Fran and Dougie talk about how Travis came to be, why they have been described as schizophrenic, and Fran’s unfortunate accident with his brother’s gerbil.

9pm - The Darkness Biography Premiere
This spandex-clad quartet have reinvented glam rock in all its glory. Harking back to the splendour of Slade and Queen, The Darkness have been described as a pastiche on the world of rock. Here they talk about their real feelings about their music.

9.30pm - Coldplay
The band’s breakthrough hits included ‘Shiver’, ‘Yellow’ and ‘Trouble’. Their chart-topping debut album, ‘Parachutes’ went to number one spot in the UK charts. Chris Martin discusses his ideas about writing and how the band began.

10pm - Manic Street Preachers
James Dean Bradfield, lead singer of Manic Street Preachers, discusses how the band formed at school, the influence of The Clash in forming the band and the highs and lows of their career, including the disappearance of their guitarist Richie James.
