Budget 2015: The Reaction

The dust has settled a few hours after George Osborne stepped up to deliver his pre-election budget, in which he seemed to loosen the austerity policies he had previously imposed on Britain.

There were more pension freedoms, changes to personal allowances and alcohol duties, as well as ISA reforms and details on the so-called "Google Tax" - plenty of measures that might keep voters on side.

But there was nothing that surprised, no "rabbit in the hat" as some were hoping for, though it still got plenty of people talking.
