Logica upbeat as restructuring is on track

Technology group Logica has today reported new orders totalling £1.057bn in the quarter to end-March, 23% of the 2011 record order book of £4.6bn.

Revenue was stable at 2011 level and it said it made good progress on delivering 2012 objectives and that the restructuring programme is fully on track.

Andy Green, CEO, said: "This is a solid performance underpinning our full year guidance. We have made good progress with clients in delivering against current contracts as well as winning and implementing new business. Our restructuring actions are fully on track and will help drive improvement in profitability in the second half."
