It's every man for themselves at Morgan Stanley if a Hunger Games parody done by staff that is currently doing the rounds on the internet is anything to go by.
Staff at the firm filmed the 10 minute spoof video as entertainment for a branch managers' meeting last year, but it was reportedly never shown at the event.
Investment News since obtained the copy and put it up online for all to see.
The tale, titled 'The Margin Games: Manager on Fire' features two employees as the main characters from the film series based on the books by Suzanne Collins, Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark.
But in their version, the pair report to the Home Office rather than the Capitol and it's their jobs they are fighting to the death for.
The film gives off the impression of a dog-eat-dog environment at Morgan Stanley, where executives are out of touch.
For example, when Peeta suggests to Katniss that they both kill themselves, she replies: "That's sweet, but that's silly. They can't spare me. They'll have somebody at your desk on Monday."
A spokesperson for Morgan Stanley would not comment on the film when approached by Investment News, but said it had never been released.
