France and Germany could soon be tuning into Netflix, after the online TV and movie streaming service hinted at “substantial European expansion” later this year.

Netflix executives reportedly met with French and German regulators last month and the company last night hinted in its fourth quarter results at plans to enter these markets. The service is currently available in the UK, Ireland, the Netherlands, Finland, Norway and Sweden,

The US firm saw net income jumping from $8 million a year ago to $48 million in the fourth quarter, while it also beat analyst’s expectations for new subscribers. The service, known for streaming Breaking Bad and House of Cards in the UK, added 2.3 million new users in the US and 1.74 million internationally.

“It’s been a good year for Netflix. People around the world want what we offer,” the company said.

Netflix said it hopes to add 4 million members globally in the next quarter.
