Whitbread toasts new finance chief Cadbury

Whitbread has poached its new finance director from FTSE 350 electronics group Premier Farnell.

Nicholas Cadbury had spent just one year at Premier Farnell, having previously held various different roles at Dixons, including commercial director of PC World.

He succeeds Christopher Rogers, who has already been announced as the new managing director of Whitbread’s Costa Coffee.

Whitbread chief executive Andy Harrison said: “We are delighted with this appointment, having conducted a thorough international search. Nicholas has experience as finance director in two different multinational plcs. He brings a wealth of experience, which will be highly relevant to Whitbread as we continue to realise our ambitious plans for the business.”
