Intermediate Capital looking strong

Buyout lender Intermediate Capital said today that its key businesses were performing well, with growth in both its investment portfolio and asset management arms.

"Overall we are pleased with the performance over the last three months. Our investment portfolio continues to perform well, and we have made progress in growing our fund management business," it said.

Intermediate Capital specialises in providing mezzanine financing, and last year the company acquired a portfolio of loans from Royal Bank of Scotland and a stake in fund management company Longbow.
