MG Rover records 'deep-cleaned'

One day after the Government appointed inspectors to investigate the collapse of MG Rover, director Peter Beale set about wiping records from his work computer, the report alleges.
Mr Beale bought a computer device called Evidence Eliminator from Nottingham company Robin Hood Software.
The programme claims it "deep cleans" a computer's hard disk of any "sensitive material" that might otherwise survive more usual methods of deletion.
The investigators say it is impossible to tell how significant the material erased was but a sub-folder titled "MG Rover" was deleted. Mr Beale says he merely erased personal documents.
