More new owners for BSM in buyout

Britain's biggest driving school is to have its fourth owner in four years.

The managing directors of the British School of Motoring (BSM) — Abu-Haris Shafi and Nikolai Kesting — are buying the business for £10 million, a fraction of what its German owners paid last winter. BSM was bought by Aviva in 2005 as part of the RAC motoring group. Aviva sold BSM to German private equity house Arques in February for £36 million.
