Tying the knot: Jack Brooksbank and Princess Eugenie will marry at St George’s Chapel
24 January 2018

While it would take a person with a heart of stone not to offer their congratulations to Princess Eugenie on her engagement [“Eugenie to wed wine merchant boyfriend after seven years of dating”, January 22], I do feel that having yet another royal wedding at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle is rather unnecessary.

Eugenie and her fiancé clearly have the money, so why not get married elsewhere?
Jane Rodman

It was reported yesterday that Princess Eugenie and her fiancé Jack Brooksbank are to move into Ivy Cottage in the grounds of Kensington Palace after their engagement was confirmed. Can it be confirmed who is paying for this?
Karen Brandon-Cross

I admire Princess Eugenie’s bottle in marrying a wine merchant. I hope they enjoy many a happy tipple together and that their relationship doesn’t cork.
