Cultural Capital episode 24: watch our weekly show on the best of London’s arts and culture

Andrew Garfield, a forest of bubbles and an overview of the emerging art world - join us on our cultural journey

Welcome to a new edition of the Evening Standard’s Cultural Capital. This week, after a year of what felt at times like full on sensory deprivation, we’re heading into Silent Fall, a very weird immersive installation of sight, smell, touch, sound and misty bubbles, created in Mayfair by the artist duo A.A. Murakami, and we’re taking the temperature of London’s emerging art world at London Grads Now, an exhibition of work by some of the city’s incredible art schools’ most promising graduating artists at the Saatchi Gallery.

Thing of the Week takes a look at a project on display at the Wellcome Collection, that aims to humanise the patient experience in a world of scary PPE, and I’ll review Lin-Manuel Miranda’s directing debut, a meta-musical movie adaptation of Rent creator Jonathan Larson’s first stage musical, tick, tick… BOOM!, starring Andrew Garfield. Enjoy, and do follow the Evening Standard’s YouTube channel to make sure you never miss an episode.
