Brown’s London Art Weekend will celebrate Mayfair's vibrant creative scene.

The event, taking place from today until July 5, includes guided walks and more than 100 exhibitions.

The elegant Brown’s Hotel is the central hub for the weekend, hosting a programme of specialist art talks. Topics such as how to start your art collection, fashion in art and the history of art in Mayfair are on the agenda. Each talk will be hosted by an expert in the field and will last 45 minutes at £30 including refreshments.

Street art: Mayfair celebrates its vibrant creative scene

Leading chef Mark Hix has created a Hix and The Artists menu to be served in HIX Mayfair, the hotel’s restaurant. Working with the artists whose work already hangs on the walls of the sumptuous haunt, Mark has used inspiration from their pieces to develop delicious and seasonal dishes.

Colourful: mini cocktails with Mat Collishaw

Look out for the Peter Peri-Peri Dorset blue lobster and Lancashire spring chicken or Mat Collishaw’s f-lame’d duck with New Forest cherries. There are also colourful tipples. Named The Artist’s Collection, a palette of mini cocktails are on the menu. Book a table here.
