Rolling Stones guitarist Ronnie Wood is set to release works from his personal archive, the Standard can exclusively reveal.

Each of the works, some of which are pictured in the gallery above, are signed by the artist.

Wood, who went to Ealing Art College aged 16, is a well-recognised artist: much of his work is hung in the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, and even the Evening Standard’s late, great art critic Brian Sewell, who was famously acerbic, declared him “an accomplished and respectable artist”.

The guitarist most famously documents the world of rock n’ roll and celebrity, having painted the Stones numerous times, as well as Eric Clapton, Kate Moss and Jack Nicholson. He’s also known for landscapes and paintings of horses.
