A look at the regimes South of the Border

10 April 2012

Oliver Stone conducts hilariously uncritical interviews with Left-wing leaders of seven south American regimes to "balance" the way they were demonised by the Fox/Bush axis of evil.

The main focus is Venezuela’s Hugo Chávez, but lessons in doctrine and history mix with footage of Stone having a kickabout with Evo Morales of Bolivia, or annoying Cristina Kirchner of Argentina with dumbass sexism.

Stone wears his heart, along with his ego, on his sleeve. But his "why are you so great?" approach risks alienating even those who instinctively side with his political agenda.
