Building wobbles from start

A nice idea, to capture life in modern Cairo via the inhabitants of one central apartment block. And the themes (all boiled down from Alaa Al-Aswany's controversial best-seller) are fascinating: political and sexual corruption in the world of business; the connection between class and faith... Sadly, 27-year-old director Marwan Hamed's social epic wobbles from the start, undermined by not-so-subtle dialogue and an execrable score.
