Gibson movie worries religious leaders

Jewish and Christian leaders who fear Mel Gibson's epic about the crucifixion of Jesus will fuel anti-Semitism are planning a series of lectures and talks in a bid to mute the impact of the film.

Gibson insists The Passion Of The Christ, to be released in the United States this month, does not malign Jews, but Anti-Defamation League and the American Jewish Committee have complained it contains destructive stereotypes about the Jewish role in Christ's death.
