Nightmare in Prague in Pysch:9

Psych:9

"I feel like I’m going insane," says Sara Foster to her doctor in Andrew Shortell’s horror thriller. "Yes, this place can be a little unsettling," he replies. I’ll say. She is organising patient records in a recently closed hospital, and, foolishly working at night where a great many things go bump, she’s not sure whether she’s menaced by her tormented past or a serial murderer on the prowl.

Made in Prague, and not short on atmosphere, Psych:9 works up a decent head of steam as Foster confronts her demons. Cary Elwes and Michael Biehn lend experience and it’s a decent debut from Shortell, but next time he should remember that a good script is an essential, even in horror movies.
