Comic actor Simon Pegg has signed up for Tom Cruise's Mission Impossible 3.
The Shaun Of The Dead star will play an ally of Cruise's character, special agent Ethan Hunt.
Director JJ Abrams said of the Briton: "His comedic skill is remarkable. He's able to be hysterically funny while always seeming 100 per cent real - even when he's killing zombies with vinyl records."
