Comedian Steve Coogan was on the red carpet last night for the premier of his new film A Cock and Bull Story
Coogan and fellow comic Rob Brydon star in director Michael Winterbottom's latest offering.
The film is based around Laurence Sterne's famously unreadable eighteenth century novel The Life and Opinions of Tristram Shandy, Gentleman.
Coogan plays four roles - Shandy, his father Walter, the author Sterne and himself.
Extras actress Ashley Jensen also appears in the British film and attended the premier at the Cineworld cinema on London's Haymarket.
Alan Partridge star Coogan, who last year was reported to be having a baby with singer Courtney Love, said this was one of his best films yet.
"I'm very proud of it. Its great to do a film I really believe in and that I don't have to pretend to like," he said.
Asked to name the most "Cock and Bull" story he has ever heard about himself, he replied: "That Courtney Love was pregnant. That was a bit weird."
Coogan also revealed himself to be no fan of Celebrity Big Brother.
"I think they are all awful," he said of the house mates. "They're all sad, dysfunctional people. They make me feel well adjusted."
Other stars at the screening included actor Greg Wise, actress Naomie Harris and artist Tracey Emin.
