The versatile talents of French star Sandrine Bonnaire are being shown in a season which includes Agnès Varda's Sans Toit Ni Loi or Vagabond, Claude Chabrol's superb thriller La Cérémonie (Jan 19 6pm) and Régis Wargnier's sombre study of exiles in Stalinist Russia Est Ouest (Jan 18 8pm), as well as previewing Bonnaire's latest film, the love story Mademoiselle (Thu 7.30pm). Bonnaire is smart as well as talented and in this little season of 11 films, there are remarkably few turkeys.
