Terror on the home front

Deadly dust: Los Angeles is attacked with dirty bombs
10 April 2012

A man says goodbye to his beautiful wife as she heads into Los Angeles.

The next time he sees her she's banging on the door like a zombie from Night of the Living Dead.

Chris Gorak's debut thriller plays like a horror movie but is actually a frenetic meditation on the war on terror.

After dirty bombs spread poisonous ash across the Valley, hero Brad (Rory Cochrane) seals himself into his house.

With impressive subtlety, the message becomes clear: treat your home like a womb, and it will become your tomb.
