A one-off drama by Top Gun director Tony Scott will be shown at the new BFI & Radio Times Television Festival for the first time since it was made more than 40 years ago.

His brother and fellow director, Sir Ridley, will visit the BFI Southbank where the Author of Beltraffio, starring Tom Baker, will be screened. It is based on a Henry James story.

Tony Scott died five years ago after he jumped from a Californian bridge.

Other festival events feature Claire Foy from The Crown, Jenna Coleman and Tom Hughes discussing Victoria, Downton Abbey’s Dame Maggie Smith and Poldark star Aidan Turner.

The event runs from April 7-9.
