True Legend doesn't leave much of a legacy

Yuen Woo-Ping's first film in 14 years, True Legend was also the last film for Kill Bill star David Carradine, who died during post-production
10 April 2012

Action director Yuen Woo-ping, in charge for the first time in 14 years, has Chinese folk hero Su Qi (Chiu Man Cheuk) as his hero in this entertaining kung-fu movie.

He falls from being a celebrated general to a drunken beggar, thanks to his jealous brother-in-law, before providing Vincent Zhao and Andy On, the two lead actors, with the opportunity for a grand slam duelling finale. David Carradine, who died during post-production, and Michelle Yeoh head the supporting cast.
