Vidal Sassoon The Movie is like a peek-a-boo fringe

10 April 2012

A look at the life of the "Swinging Sixties" hairdresser.

He fought in Palestine. He fought Mosley's fascists.

He could be stern with clients, too. His second wife, Beverley, talks about his "anger". You want more from Beverley, less from a host of gushy colleagues and experts. Sassoon had four kids (one of whom OD'd in 2002) but none are interviewed here.

If Vidal The Movie were a haircut, it would be a peek-a-boo fringe. Now you see him, now you don't.
