Some of the biggest names in British film attended the Evening Standard Film Awards at a glitzy ceremony in London last night

The event,  held at the London Film Museum on the South Bank, celebrated a dazzling year for British cinema.

Among the guests where Andrea Riseborough, who was named best actress, and Toby Jones, who picked up the Best Actor Award.

Skyfall was named Film of the Year, Ben Wheatley’s Sightseers won the Peter Sellers Award for Comedy while writer/director Sally El Hosaini was named Most Promising Newcomer.
