Coldplay’s 2024 European tour: Where they are playing and how to get tickets

Chris Martin has said new album Moon Music could arrive in 2024 but Glastonbury appearance yet to be confirmed

Coldplay are playing in some European cities for the first time in 2024 as their Music Of The Spheres World Tour enters its next phase.

The band will perform their first-ever live shows in Greece, Romania and Finland, as well as their first visit to Budapest since 2008, and will be back in Rome for the first time since 2003.

There are no UK dates announced, but there is a gap in the schedule for a potential headline slot at Glastonbury Festival - although this rumour is just that at the time of writing.

Coldplay are set to tour the continent on the back of upcoming album Moon Music - which is slated for release in early 2024 as a sequel to the 2021 LP Music of the Spheres.

“We might start playing some songs [from Moon Music] at some point this year,” Chris Martin has told City News.

The European leg of the tour will end with dates in Dublin. Extra dates have already been added for some shows due to demand at the point of presale.

What is Coldplay’ sustainability initiative?

Coldplay are committed to playing their part in helping the climate crisis by trying to keep the footprint of the tour as low as possible.
