How to watch and listen to the BBC Proms 2021

The world’s greatest classical music festival is under way - and there are plenty of ways to see and hear it, even if you can’t make it to the Royal Albert Hall

The BBC Proms are now well underway, showcasing a remarkably broad repertoire in a particularly challenging year for classical music.

With “Prommers” tickets costing only £7.12 on the day, there are plenty of chances to get your live music fix in person at the Royal Albert Hall. Performers range from stalwarts such as BBC Symphony Orchestra to relative newcomers like Ghanaian-American singer-songwriter Moses Sumney. There really is something for everyone.

But if you can’t get to the Royal Albert Hall, there are plenty of other options to keep your eyes and ears duly satisfied.

So if music be the food of love, feast upon this year’s festival - here are all the ways you can enjoy the BBC Proms 2021.

Live BBC channels

20 Proms will be shown live on television, on both BBC Two and BBC Four. You can find the full schedule here.

BBC iPlayer

If you can’t catch the concerts on live television, they will also be available to view on iPlayer after the event.
