While Kanye West’s fans are still digesting the critically-acclaimed rapper's latest album The Life of Pablo, it seems there might be more coming our way very soon.

West has revealed plans to release a new album this summer.

The announcement comes just days after the release of his seventh full-length solo album, currently streaming exclusively on TIDAL.

In a typically blunt Tweet from the star, West simply said: “New album coming this summer”

Since the release of The Life of Pablo, Kanye has hinted that he’s still tweaking the album, and claimed that it would never be released for purchase and would remain a TIDAL-exclusive stream.

Earlier this week, Kanye played a brand new track titled Closest Thing To Einstein at a VIP party in Los Angeles, with live recordings of the song already surfacing online.

While the prospect of two Kanye West albums in one year is undeniably exciting for his fans, it remains to be seen whether the second LP will surface – The Life of Pablo was originally expected to arrive last year, while Kanye initially claimed he was working on the follow-up to his sixth album Yeezus at the end of 2013.
