Skepta and Jorja Smith to headline Field Day 2019: How to get festival tickets

Headliners: Skepta and Jorja Smith will take to the stage at the festival in June
Harry Fletcher15 January 2019

The Standard can exclusively reveal Skepta and Jorja Smith have been confirmed as the headliners for this year's Field Day.

The festival, which is moving site for the second successive year this summer, will welcome the performers on June 7 and June 8 respectively.

They’ll be joined by a host of talent, including the likes of Pusha T, Diplo, Earl Sweathshirt, Octavian, Todd Terje and Jungle.

Skepta is no stranger to London festivals, having topped the bill at Lovebox in 2018 and Wireless in 2017. Field Day will, however, mark Smith’s first major festival headline spot.

The Standard previously revealed that Field Day was moving to London’s largest music warehouse in Enfield this summer, after the festival moved to Brockwell Park after a decade in Victoria Park in 2018.

The festival site will consist of a 10-acre outdoor space, as well as four interlinked warehouses — converted from an old gasworks next to Tottenham Marshes.

Organisers claim that the new location will mean the event will carry on later into the night that any other London festival.

Last year’s event featured performances from the likes of Erykah Badu, Loyle Carner, AJ Tracey and Daniel Avery.
