Post Malone has been announced as the latest headliner of this year's Sziget festival.

The rapper and singer will top the bill at the event, which takes place in Budapest, Hungary from August 7-13.

He joins previously confirmed acts Ed Sheeran, Florence + The Machine, Foo Fighters, Twenty One Pilots, The 1975 and Martin Garrix at the festival.

Other newly announced artists include the likes of James Blake, Franz Ferdinand, Tove Lo, Years & Years, Richie Hawtin, IAMDDB, Razorlight, and Yeasayer.

Sziget is one of the biggest festivals in Europe, with more than half a million people attending in 2018. The festival takes place on Óbudai-sziget, an idyllic island just north of Budapest.

Post Malone is performing at Sziget as part of an extensive European tour, which will see him play two nights at London’s O2 arena and top the bill at Reading and Leeds festivals.
