Take That are set to perform a special, intimate, show for BBC Radio 2 next month and Londoners have a better chance of getting tickets.

Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald are set to sing for the station’s In Concert series on Tuesday, November 21 and registration for tickets is open now.

The boy band, who have been a trio since the departures of Jason Orange and Robbie Williams in 2014, are set to release their ninth album, This Life, on November 24. The first two singles Windows and Brand New Sun are out now.

Of their first single, the band said in a statement: “Windows is the song that brought us back together and got us excited again.

“It really opened the door (or window!) to a new Take That era, and we love the metaphor being so beautifully explored in the video. It's out now so tell us what you think.”

Having played a London BST Hyde Park concert over the summer, Take That are now lining up a UK and Europe tour for 2024 - which will include six shows at London’s O2 Arena

How to get tickets for Take That In Concert with BBC Radio 2

Take That have not said if they will be playing their whole album or just a few hits. But tickets are limited and demand is high.

“On Tuesday 21 November, BBC Radio 2 will welcome Take That into the BBC Radio Theatre for a very special In Concert performance with a limited audience,” a statement read.

Tickets will be allocated by random draw with 50 per cent of the tickets going to Greater London postcodes and 50 per cent to the rest of the UK.

Registration can be made up until 9pm on November 6 and applicants can apply for one pair each.

Applicants will need to be available to get to the BBC Radio Theatre in London for admission from 5.15pm on November 21 with final entry at 6.45pm. The concert will finish at 8.10pm.

Ticket registration is available to all residents of the UK aged 18 and over.
