How to watch Katherine Jenkins' VE Day performance as it's live-streamed from the Royal Albert Hall

For the first time in the venue’s long and storied history, the Royal Albert Hall is hosting a concert in front of an empty auditorium.

Katherine Jenkins is the performer in question, travelling to the west London spot to sing through a number of wartime classics in honour of the 75th anniversary of VE Day.

The whole thing will be live-streamed for free online, meaning anyone can tune in to watch.

The concert will be broadcast on the Royal Albert Hall’s official YouTube channel, below.

What time is the concert?

The show will start at 6pm on Friday evening, and is set to last for about half an hour.

Which songs will Katherine Jenkins sing?

The exact setlist hasn’t been revealed yet, but we do know that Jenkins is to sing through a series of “wartime favourites” including The White Cliffs of Dover and We’ll Meet Again. For the latter, she will be joined by the song’s original vocalist, Dame Vera Lynn, for a virtual duet.
