Wireless will transform into a digital festival this July, after its initial plans were derailed by the Covid-19 outbreak.
Wireless Connect, which is set to run on the same dates as the original festival from July 3-5, will feature unseen performances and exclusive footage.
The festival will also experiment with virtual reality, making some pre-recorded performances available to watch in 360 degrees using the MelodyVR app. They will also be streamed on the Wireless Facebook page.
Melvin Benn, managing director of Festival Republic said: "There's no more forward-thinking festival than Wireless, and there's no more forward-thinking way of hosting a festival than in 360 VR.
“We'll be filming artists in MelodyVR’s amazing studio space in LA, built just for this purpose and in the historic theatre at Ally Pally, which MelodyVR will turn into Wireless Connect."
Organisers added that viewers should “practise safe social distancing and only host Wireless Connect parties within your own household groups”.

The full Wireless Connect line-up will be revealed soon.
The original Wireless Festival was set to take place in Finsbury Park and welcome the likes of A$AP Rocky, Skepta, Meek Mill and AJ Tracey.
It has now been postponed for a year, and will return to north London on July 2-4, 2021.
