I'm Alan Partridge leads the nominations at this year's British Comedy Awards.

And Felicity Montagu, who plays Alan's long-suffering PA Lynn, is up for best comedy actress.

Nominations for the 14th annual awards were announced today.
Geordie duo Ant and Dec will battle it out with Jonathan Ross in two key categories.

They join chat show host Graham Norton in the race for best comedy entertainment personality of the year.

And best comedy entertainment programme will go to either Ant And Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway, Friday Night With Jonathan Ross or Comic Relief Does Fame Academy.

I'm Alan Partridge is up against Bo'Selecta and Coupling for best TV comedy.
Steve Coogan will challenge with Martin Clunes and Rob Brydon for best comedy actor, while Felicity Montagu, Ronni Ancona and Julie Andrews have been nominated for best comedy actress.

At Home With The Braithwaites, Cold Feet and Teachers will battle it out for best comedy drama.

There are also two nominations for Channel 4's My New Best Friend - best new TV comedy and best comedy newcomer for Marc Wootton.

Jonathan Ross is hosting the awards ceremony, which will be broadcast live on ITV1 on December 10.
