10 April 2012
Wil Hodgson/Paul Sinha
Soho Theatre, W1

Marcus Brigstocke
Menier Chocolate Factory, SE1

A brief residency for the skilful comedian who has subtly reinvented himself in recent years. Brigstocke dissects the latest headlines in the first half and then rants about his pet hates after the interval. (020 7907 7060). Fri 9 March, Sat 10 Mar, 8pm. Until 17 Mar.

Lee Mack
Arts Depot, N12

Mack, who bridges the gap between mainstream and alternative comedy with his cheeky banter, tops this benefit gig. Money raised goes towards the Grief Encounter Project, which supports bereaved children in the UK. Support comes from Matt Welcome and newcomer Josie Long. (020 8369 5454). Sat 10 Mar, 8pm.

Lovely Linda/The Split Lit Comedy Show
Toynbee Studios, E1

Two separate gigs at Spitalfields' Literary festival. The first is a tribute to R4 favourite Linda Smith who died last year and features readings of her work. This is followed by a stand-up gig including Lucy Porter, Kerry Godliman and Susan Murray. If you want more Porter you can catch her full-length show at the Soho Theatre from Monday to next Saturday. (020 7247 2584). Sat 10 Mar, 7pm/9pm.
