Daniel O'Donnell play at London's Irish Cultural Centre for one night only

Dedicated to Daniel: fans of popular Irish crooner Daniel O’Donnell are profiled in this comical play
Maryann Mallet11 June 2015

Lovin Daniel, a comical and sometimes poignant play about a group of fans of the popular Irish crooner Daniel O’Donnell, is showing this Friday as part of the 20th anniversary celebrations of the Hammersmith Irish Centre in West London.

Set in the 1980s, the play centres around a band of older female O’Donnell fans (regarded as the most loyal in the music business) as they prepare for the first ever D.O.D. Fan Club Convention.

Written and Directed by playwright Ros Scanlon, (previous work includes the acclaimed Dance Hall Days at Riverside Studios), the play follows on from a successful run last year at the Wimbledon theatre.

The show will be performed at The Polish Centre Theatre, 238 King Street, W6 0RF for one nightly only on Friday, June 12. Tickets are still available at £10/£8. Call 020 8563 8232 or visit irishculturalcentre.co.uk to book.
