Big Brother has been hit with fixing allegations after Isabelle Warburton, a former flame of housemate Kieran Lee, was chosen to join the show.

Warburton entered the house after taking part in a Blind Date-style challenge which saw three would-be contestants interviewed by current housemates Kieran, Chanelle and Lotan while hidden behind a screen.

Kieran, Chanelle and Lotan were given the task of choosing which of the prospective housemates should be given a spot on the show based on the responses they gave.

After it was revealed they’d chosen Savannah and Isabelle, viewers reacted angrily on Twitter, accusing BB bosses of fixing the show so that Isabelle, who has history with Kieran would enter the house.

However, a spokesperson for Big Brother refuted the claims stating: "It was the decision of the three housemates in this week's task, who picked Savannah and Isabelle, not Sam."

Other Big Brother fans were disappointed that Sam Chaloner, the third potential housemate, wasn’t picked to join the house, while some thought they'd seen his face before.

The two new arrivals Savannah and Isabelle have already caused a stir in the house with Ellie feeling threatened by Savannah’s Irish charm and Isabelle branding Kieran and Lotan “attention seeking”.

Singer Savannah is from Dublin but spends much of her time partying with celebrities in LA. The 26-year-old claims to be close pals with musicians Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande.

Meanwhile Isabelle is unemployed and decided to go on Big Brother to pass the time while she’s “between jobs”.

She believes appearing on the show will help her have “best summer ever” and has admitted to hooking up with housemate Kieran while holidaying in Ibiza last year.

Big Brother continues tonight at 10pm on Channel 5.
