In around a month’s time, Britain has a big choice to make: whether or not to remain in the European Union.

The debate around the decision to leave or stay has split politicians, with no clear-cut party line over the issue.

Within the Conservative party, two heavy-hitters have found themselves on opposite sides of the fence.

Prime Minister David Cameron is backing the Remain campaign, warning of a potential self-inflicted recession if the UK decide to leave, while former Mayor of London Boris Johnson is in the Leave camp.

In this Channel 4 documentary, Michael Crick looks at how the referendum has divided two of the country’s most well-known politicians, tracing their background together rising through the ranks of Eton and Oxford University.

While the outcome of the vote is mostly important on a bigger scale, it will also undeniably have repercussions for the Conservatives – and Boris and David’s working relationship moving forward.
