As anticipation for the latest big-screen instalment of Star Wars continues to grow, you won’t have to wait until December to see R2-D2 and C-3PO in action again.

The odd-couple droid duo appear in a Star Wars-themed comedy sketch for Children In Need, which sees a whole host of celebrities taking part for charity.

Warwick Davis, who appeared in Return of the Jedi as an Ewok, leads the cast as they look for a Star Wars super-fan who can “trigger the first BBC Children In Need totaliser of the night”.

The journey to find such a fan leads to many famous faces appearing along the way – from Martin Freeman and Danny Dyer, to Lord Sugar and Barbara Windsor, Bake Off’s Mel and Sue, and many, many more.

Best of all, the sketch means that Sir Terry Wogan will still be a part of 2015’s Children In Need after all – the regular host of the charity night is unable to present it this year due to health reasons, but has already filmed his part in the Star Wars segment.

Take a look above at just a few of the big names set to appear – so many stars, it’s practically a galaxy.
