Honey G has confirmed that she is signed to Simon Cowell’s Syco label – and has hinted that an album is on the way.
The X Factor rapper, who made it through several rounds of the live shows, shared a video on Twitter revealing more details about her future plans after performing on the X Factor finals on Saturday.
“Yo yo yo, this is your girl here Honey G. I hope you all enjoyed my performance last night at The X Factor final,” she said.
“Yes, it is true – I am now signed to Simon Cowell’s label Syco.
“I’m going to be releasing my first single on December 23, and I’m shooting the video this week. I’m so excited, I’m so happy – I can’t explain how happy I am.
“I want all my fans to let them know that I love them, and I hope that everyone goes out, buys the single, supports it, we tear it up and we kill it, smash it.”
Closing off the video message, she added: “Bring on the album!”
The ‘North Weezy’ rapper announced the single following her X Factor performance on Saturday, but her return to the live shows didn’t go down too well with some viewers.

Honey – real name Anna Georgette Gilford – made no bones about plugging her forthcoming single, The Honey G Show, after her rap mash-up.
“I just want to plug my single that’s coming out on the 23rd December called the Honey G Show,” she told Dermot O’Leary.
“Everyone who’s locked in we’re going to rip it up, tear it up. This is the official Honey G take over.”
