The estranged wife of ‘hot felon’ Jeremy Meeks has told of her continued “heartbreak” over his romance with Topshop heiress Chloe Green.

Melissa Meeks was visibly upset as she fought back tears during her first UK interview on This Morning, admitting that she still wasn’t over the split.

“He was an amazing husband, honestly, when I think about it I still get emotional. It's still very raw. We had a really good life together,” she told Ben Shepherd and Amanda Holden on Monday.

Meeks went on to say that she had “no idea” that her husband was looking for another relationship and had “no indication” that he would cheat.

“I had no indication he was looking for another relationship,” she said. “People who are married, you go through your ups and downs, I thought it was a new chapter in our lives, we'd have to get over the hump and it would be fine.”

The mother-of-one held back tears as she told of how the model had confessed his infidelity back in June, after pictures of him with Green canoodling on her father’s yacht published.

“He was just apologetic for how things came out and how hurt I was by it,” she said. “I don't really think there's any denying it based on the photos that were out there.”

In an unlikely pairing, Meeks has now been linked to Love Island’s Theo Campbell, after the pair reportedly met on Instagram.

Her publicist denied reports of a romance, saying: “Melissa and Theo are just friends. They met a few weeks ago on Instagram and have been communicating through social media and met in person this past week in London while she was here vacationing with me.”

“Melissa thinks he’s very handsome and they have become good friends but that is it as of now. She wants to stay single for a while as she needs time for her heart to heal.”
