Britain’s Got Talent has had many eccentric acts through the years, but this week took things to another level with the arrival of ‘hypnodog’ Princess.

Led by her owner Krystyna Lennon, Princess appeared to hypnotise many audience volunteers – including Ant and Dec – who, after being put under by Princess’ stare, would no longer say the number ‘7’ when counting up to 10.

A sceptical Simon Cowell then took to the stage to be hypnotised by Princess into being nice – and while he initially claimed that the dog had no effect on him, once he sat down he was noticeably more polite to his fellow judges.

Though many viewers cried fake, Krystyna has spoken in a new interview saying that she hasn’t been bothered by the negativity.

“Everybody wants to pull everybody’s act [apart]… that’s what people do,” she shrugged. “Haters gonna hate!”

She also spoke about how she found Princess’ talent, her wish to come up against fellow hypnotist Paul McKenna, and what might lie in the future for her and Princess.

“The big dream, I suppose, is to get to Las Vegas - that’s got to be, hasn’t it?,” she said. “I think we’d be fabulous over there.”

The duo made it to the next round of the show, and promise that funny new tricks are yet to come in their next audition.
