While the recent spate of Bushtucker Trials have mostly seen Ferne McCann, Lady Colin Campbell and Jorgie Porter taking it in turns, now it’s Brian Friedman’s chance to prove his mettle.

The American choreographer and X Factor creative director seems to be annoying his campmates, with Lady C, Kieron Dyer, Ferne McCann, and Vicky Pattison all expressing their frustrations with him on Tuesday night's episode.

Having been voted onto the Bushtucker Trial by the public, viewers hoping to see Friedman put through his paces should be pleased.

Titled Critter Shop of Horrors, the challenge sees Friedman having a particularly tough time with a crab who really, really wants to take a nip at his fingers.

Tasked with moving five large, angry crabs from one perspex box to another, the creatures bare their claws at him every time he attempts to get a hold of one.

“I find crabs aren’t happy at the best of times,” says Dec helpfully as he watches on.

Summoning up the courage to hold one of the ferocious crustaceans, Friedman psyches himself up: “Mantra: I am strong, I am brave – it’s funny, as I say it I don’t even believe it,” he deadpans.

Watch the full trial when it airs on Wednesday night’s episode – and expect plenty of crab-induced swearing.
