After leaving the I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here jungle on medical grounds, controversial star Lady Colin Campbell has hit out at fellow campmates Tony Hadley and Duncan Bannatyne.

Wednesday’s episode of the show featured an interview with Lady C from her hotel, where she spoke about her time in the jungle.

While she praised camp allies Kieron Dyer and Chris Eubank as “wonderfully supportive” and “true gentlemen”, Lady C said that “there is no prospect of my ever, ever having Tony or Duncan in my life in any way, shape, or form.”

She added: “They have earned my disregard, they’re going to have to live with it.”

Lady C thought that Hadley had a chip on his shoulder, claiming that his refusal to become her chambermaid earlier in the series was “entirely personal” and due to her being “a Lady with a capital L”.

As well as claiming to be “obviously the grandest person in the camp”, Lady C reckoned it was all the attention that she was receiving from the show that had caused friction in the jungle.

While she admitted that she “actually rather enjoyed” her time in the Australian wilds, she said: “It feels absolutely wonderful to be in civilisation again. The jungle was not the experience I expected in any way, shape, or form. In many ways it was far more pleasurable and pleasant.”

Camp Leader George Shelley broke the news of Lady C’s departure to the fellow celebs, who were surprised that the star had left.

“I just didn’t see it coming,” said Vicky Pattison, who reckoned: “The camp will be quieter without her.”

Some of the celebrities were pleased that Lady C was no longer in camp.

“Obviously it’s a huge relief,” said Tony Hadley, mentioning their “clash of personalities”.

Duncan Bannatyne said: “There’s absolutely nothing I will miss about Lady C.”

Kieron Dyer, clearly upset at seeing friends Chris Eubank and Lady C leave the camp in the space of two days, asked that the rest of the celebrities not discuss Campbell following her retreat from the show.

The celebrities were forced to break the news to Ferne McCann after she returned triumphant from an intense Bushtucker Trial. The TOWIE star said she was “gutted” for Lady C.

“Say what you want about her, I loved her. And I know sometimes she was out of line,” McCann said. “I really, really thought a lot of her. I didn’t even get a chance to say goodbye.”

Aside from the fact that Lady C left the show on medical grounds, the exact circumstances around her departure have not been confirmed – more details are due to be made clear in I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here: Coming Out, airing on Wednesday December 9.
