Is this the worst David Beckham lookalike? This Morning viewers mock ‘naff’ impersonator

Viewers were in hysterics over the "worst ever" lookalike

This Morning viewers were left baffled by a David Beckham lookalike who they said looked more like their “foot” than the famous footballer.

Andy Harmer was on the ITV show to promote the second series of Channel 4 documentary, Lookalikes, which follows Harmer’s agency and career as a Beckham doppelganger.

But he was mocked by viewers who were unconvinced by his claim to fame, with many saying he bares more of a resemblance to James Corden and Brian Dowling.

One viewer tweeted: “If he’s David Beckham I’m Posh! #thismorning.”

Another wrote: “David Beckham lookalike is an insult to the man himself, sorry but C’mon!”

A third posted: “My foot looks more like David Beckham than this guy #thismorning.”

Harmer left viewers in hysterics two years ago when he joined Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield to talk about his lookalike agency which was struggling at the time.

Speaking on Wednesday morning’s show he said: “It’s doing good now, but I was struggling.”

Giving viewers an insight into the second series of the Channel 4 show he said: “It’s based on true stories from the agency I run and the things we get up to.

“Sometimes I’m on the phone to the queen trying to send her off somewhere then talking to these guys and they don’t want to turn up somewhere.”

Harmer was joined on the sofa by Ricky Gervais, Gordon Ramsay, Ed Sheeran and Jamie Vardy lookalikes.

This Morning is on ITV, weekdays at 10:30am. Lookalikes is on Channel 4, tonight at 10:30pm
