So this is it, our final day of Love Island 2018. It’s been fun. It’s been emotional.

Yes, last week saw Dani Dyer and Jack Fincham crowned champions of series four and walk away with £50,000 to split between them.

Much to the surprise of many, especially the fans who complained to Ofcom , Laura Anderson and Paul Knops finished in second place, Kaz Crossley and Josh Denzel took third and Megan Barton Hanson and Wes Nelson wound up fourth.

Six days on from the live final and the couples are back in blighty, settling in to their new lives outside the villa – and you can check in on them, tonight, as Love Island goes live for one last time with The Reunion.

As well as chatting to Caroline Flack about getting to grips with civilian life, we’ll also see what happened when the lovebirds met the friends and family. Here’s a taste of what to expect…

Megan and Wes

Fresh of the plane, Wes took Megan to his house in Staffordshire where the 20-year-old’s loved ones threw a massive welcome home BBQ for the couple.

After living it up in the nuclear design engineer’s hometown, Megan gave Wes a tour of Southend which clearly left quite an impression since they’ve actually apparently moved in together.

Kaz and Josh

Ever since they coupled up in Casa Amor, the sweet couple haven’t shied away from getting to know everything about each other – and now Kaz knows Josh’s best friends, too!

Back in London after touchdown, Josh made sure Kaz was right in the fold on a pals night out.

Laura and Paul

The runners-up might feel like they have a lot to “prove” – for want of a better word – after them beating the other two couples in the final to second place enraged some viewers.

But the couple looked to be getting cosy as they explored Laura’s home town of Stirling, up in Scotland, where Paul showed his dedication to his air hostess flame by getting kitted out in a kilt.

Later, they enjoyed a picnic with Laura’s friends at Stirling Castle, taking in the sights.

Dani and Jack

The lovebirds soared to the top of the voting last Monday, attracting almost 80 per cent of the vote, and were firm favourites with the viewers over the two months.

Dani went back to her local, where she used to work as a barmaid, and showed Jack the ropes as well as introducing him to her friendship circle.

Jack returned the favour, immersing his girlfriend in the world of stationary sales.

Love Island: The Reunion is on ITV2 on Sunday 5th August at 9pm. Details of Love Island Live are at www.meettheislanders.com .
