Love Island bosses have confirmed that the hit dating show will return for a fourth series in 2018.
This year’s run has been more successful than ever, with the most popular episode receiving 3.8 million views across platforms.
Over seven weeks of sun, poolside bantering and scandalous bedroom antics, the third series has become ITV2’s most successful format among 16-34 year olds.
The show’s popularity has not only seen its ratings boosted by a whopping 79 per cent, but has also attracted the attention of some very famous viewers, Adele and Liam Gallagher are just two high profile Love Island fans.

While another, Stormzy, enjoyed the show so much he even dropped into the villa via video call to give budding rap group, Kem, Chris and Marcel, some advice.
In a statement, ITV2's head of digital channels and acquisitions Paul Mortimer said he was 'thrilled' by the show's success. “We couldn’t be more thrilled with how Love Island fever has gripped the nation. Now established as the perfect series to start the summer, we’re delighted to be bringing the show back for our young adult audience in 2018," he explained.
The conclusion of the 2017 series saw Kem and Amber crowned Love Island champions opting to share the prize money.
