Love Island’s Curtis Pritchard admitted that he would couple up with new girl Jourdan Raine and dump current partner Amy Hart in an explosive preview clip.

After struggling with his “attraction” to the new islander and questioning his feelings for “half-girlfriend” Amy during last night’s show, the brief teaser shows the professional dancer confess his feelings for Jourdan ahead of the latest recoupling.

“Right at this second I’d choose you,” he tells the model, prompting her to ask: “Are you sure?”

The drama-filled preview also sees Michael Griffiths kissing Joanna Chimonidies, after asking her: “If I was to kiss you right now, would you stop me?”

The firefighter is still coupled up with Amber Gill, who is staying in Casa Amor with the rest of the girls and six new boys.

Tonight’s episode will see the islanders forced to make some major decisions about the strength of their relationships as the girls return from the second villa.

The original contestants will choose whether to remain in their current couples or crack on with new islanders, with host Caroline Flack joining them in the villa to preside over the ceremony.

Last night’s episode saw Curtis ask whether there is “something missing” from his connection with Amy, despite the couple previously appearing to have one of the strongest relationships on the show.

After admitting that he had “clicked” with the “lovely” Jourdan, he went to Michael for some perspective on his romance with Amy.

“I see that you and Amy get on so well, in the sense that you laugh and joke together all the time, but there clearly is something missing,” his friend advised. “You just need to find out what that is.”

As Curtis pondered whether a “physical attraction” was missing from the couple, Michael came up with a reason of his own.

“Is it a physical thing or is it when Amy’s talking about things, it winds you up because you don’t like the fact that it can come across b*****?”

Amy, meanwhile, has stayed true to Curtis during her time in Casa Amor and suggested during last night’s show that she would leave the series immediately if she returned to find that her “half-boyfriend” had dumped her.

Love Island continues tonight at 9pm on ITV2.
