Classic story: Wendy, Peter Pan and Hook return on Boxing Day
ITV

1. What’s different?

Peter and Wendy opens with the story of 12-year-old Lucy, who is in Great Ormond Street Hospital for a heart operation.

After finding a first edition of J.M Barrie’s fairy-tale in the hospital library, Lucy begins to read it aloud to the other sick children the day before she is due to have surgery.

When she goes to sleep that night, Lucy is transported to Neverland.
